Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Pressed and Curious website (pressedandcurious.com), placing an order, creating an account, or communicating with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Products and Orders

Pressed and Curious creates handmade custom press-on nails. Because our products are custom-made to order based on your individual nail sizing, please note:

• All orders are final once production begins. We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom-made products.
• If you receive a defective product or there is an error with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right.
• Colors may vary slightly from photos due to monitor differences and the handmade nature of our products.
• Production times vary. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order.

Custom Orders and Handmade Work

All Pressed and Curious products are handmade, original creations. When you submit a custom order request with reference images, photos, or descriptions, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Reference images serve as inspiration, not an exact specification. Your finished set will be a unique, handmade interpretation of your vision — not an identical copy of any reference image.
• AI-generated images, digitally altered photos, and certain complex designs may depict effects that are not physically achievable on real press-on nails. We reserve the right to suggest modifications or decline requests that we determine cannot be executed to a quality standard we are proud of.
• Every custom order is reviewed and approved before payment is collected. You will not be charged until you have agreed to the proposed design direction and final price.
• Minor variations in color, texture, and detail are inherent to handmade work and are not considered defects.
• Once a custom order is approved and payment is made, the order is considered final. Refunds are not available for custom work unless the product is defective or materially different from the agreed design direction.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in USD. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We also accept payment via Cash, Venmo, Zelle, and Square for in-person or custom arrangements.

Shipping

We currently ship within the United States. Shipping times vary depending on your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers. Tracking information will be provided when your order ships.

Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to update it as needed.

SMS/Text Message Terms

By opting in to receive text messages from Pressed and Curious, you agree to the following:

• Message types: You may receive order confirmations, shipping updates, production progress notifications, appointment reminders, account notifications, and occasional promotional messages (if separately opted in).
• Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your order activity and account status.
• Opt-out: You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message.
• Help: Reply HELP for support, or email us at hello@pressedandcurious.com.
• Costs: Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Consent: Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. You may buy from us without opting in to SMS.
• Privacy: Your mobile phone number and opt-in data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to photos, designs, text, logos, and graphics, is the property of Pressed and Curious and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our written permission. Photos of your custom nails may be shared on our social media with your consent.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use our services for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other user accounts.
• Submit false or misleading information.
• Interfere with the proper functioning of our website.

Limitation of Liability

Pressed and Curious provides products and services on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
