Pressed and Curious

Sizing Guide

The secret to press-ons that actually stay on? A perfect fit. Here's how to get yours.

How Sizing Works

Every set is custom-sized for you. When you order, here's how it works:

Already Know Your Measurements?

If you know your nail widths in millimeters or your sizes from a specific nail tip brand, enter them in your nail profile and you're good to go.

Need to Be Sized?

Don't know your exact size? No problem. Choose a sizing method when you order and I'll get your measurements before I start making your set.

Sizing Methods

When you choose custom sizing, pick which method works best for you. The fee covers materials and shipping for the kit.

Try-On Sizing Kit — +$5

I'll mail you a set of numbered sample nails. Try them on each finger, tell me which numbers fit best, and I'll use those to make your set. No measuring required — just match and go.

Mold Kit — +$25

I'll send you a mold kit with a prepaid return shipping label and bag. Make impressions of your nails and send them back. I'll get your exact measurements from the molds and customize every single nail to fit your fingers. Perfect if you want the most precise fit possible, especially for unique nail shapes.

In-Person Sizing — Free

If you're local, schedule an appointment and I'll measure you on the spot. I also offer free sizing whenever I'm vending in person — drop me a line to find out when my next event is!

Tips for a Great Fit

  • Measure your nails when they're clean and dry — no polish or oils.
  • Measure the widest part of the nail bed, not the cuticle area.
  • If you're between sizes, go slightly larger and be sure to note that on your finger info. Upload a photo of that nail bed so I have a really clear reference.
  • Note if your nails are super curved or super flat — it affects which nail tips work best for you.
  • If you have unusually shaped nails — deeply curved, wide, or nail beds with very different lengths — I strongly recommend choosing the mold kit option. It lets me problem-solve and customize for a much better fit.
  • Upload a photo of each finger flat on a table next to a quarter — this helps a lot! I use these to tweak the top of each nail tip (near the cuticle) to match your actual nail shape for a closer, more seamless fit.

A note on clubbed nails: I'm not currently able to make press-ons that fit clubbed nail beds — the shape makes it really hard for them to stay on, and I'd hate for you to be disappointed. It's something I hope to solve in the future with custom gel nail tips, but I'm not there yet. I appreciate your understanding!
